By the end of the program participants will be able to: ^ Assess the equipment they will need to connect to the internet ^ Be able to navigate around the Internet Explorer screen effectively ^ Surf the net' by typing in web addresses and using links ^ Perform searches using several popular search engines ^ Set a home page ^ Bookmark and organise their favourite web pages ^ Print web pages Pre-Requisites: Getting to Know Your PC or a basic working knowledge of the Windows.
